Bayeux Arts

Bayeux Arts Inc. is an independent publishing house located in Calgary, Alberta (Canada's Rocky Mountain province). It produces between six and ten titles per year and is about to commence an active reprint program. The company's list tends to reflect the individual tastes and interests of its founders.

Bayeux remains committed to producing books of beauty that build bridges across cultures. As its name was intended to suggest, the artistic nature of its books represents the cornerstone of its publishing program. Our list is deliberately eclectic and contains books that other publishers often shy away from publishing. We publish these books because they deserve publication and because they deserve to be read.

The Old Trout Puppet Workshop is a motley gang of artists churning out ideas for a whole heap of unlikely things: puppet shows for adults and children, sculptures, films, music, books, plays, paintings, and pedagogy. We struggle against terrible obstacles to create things we think might help make the cruel world slightly more hospitable to the yearning and fragile souls that inhabit it.

One Yellow Rabbit

One Yellow Rabbit Performance Theatre is a "creation house" centering around a core ensemble of creative artists. Our mission is to create original, adult-oriented performance theatre for and about the community that supports us, presenting in our home venue in Calgary and wherever invited in the world. In addition, we nurture similar activities of others in several ways: with our annual festival of performative arts, theHigh Performance Rodeo; by presenting other creation-based projects at other times during our season; and by teaching activities focusing on creation, especially during our annual school, the Summer Lab Intensive.
