Judd Palmer is one of the founding co-artistic directors of the Old Trout Puppet Workshop – known for such works as Famous Puppet Death Scenes, Ignorance, The Erotic Anguish of Don Juan, and The Last Supper of Antonin Carême. He’s also a writer and illustrator of children’s books (three of which have been shortlisted for the Governor General’s Award for Children’s Literature – The Umbrella, The Wolf King, and The Maestro), the slide banjo player in the band The Agnostic Mountain Gospel Choir, and the writer/director of the Old Trouts’ first half-hour TV Christmas special, From Naughty to Nice. Most recently, he appeared as Roy in Puente and Blue Bridge’s co-production of Cruel Tears/Lágrimas Crueles. Judd is the General Manager of Puente Theatre.
